Emergency Resources
Support for DC residents facing eviction.
The current cohort of Rising for Justice Master of Social Work Interns has compiled this list of emergency resources for DC residents facing eviction.
These resources are available to anyone, so please share widely. Because the resource landscape in DC is always changing, this is a working document that our Social Work Interns will update periodically.
If you have updated information or a new resource to add, please email ckohlrieser [at] risingforjustice [dot] org.
Thanks to our colleagues at Bread for the City for contributing to this resource.
Winter Resources for DC Residents
Extreme cold brings additional hardships for neighbors facing housing instability, food insecurity, or other urgent needs. To support DC residents during the winter months, Rising for Justice’s Master of Social Work Interns have compiled a list of resources helping with food access, shelter, heating and utility support, and more.
Please call ahead to confirm availability and hours, as programs may change or fill up quickly.
