JUSTICE BEGINS WITH YOU
Our clients depend on us, and we depend on you to make our services available, accessible, and responsive.
Over the past year, Rising for Justice has helped indigent and low-income community members in the District of Columbia weather crises, trained talented law and social work students in our clinical programs, and conducted outreach to hundreds of local residents to advise them about their legal rights.
Today, our neighbors across the District are increasingly at risk of eviction and homelessness, facing unemployment, and confronting other challenging life circumstances. For so many residents in the District, access to our services can mean the difference between homelessness and housing, poverty and economic security, and a life of fear and a life of relative safety.
For more than 50 years, Rising for Justice has worked to address the vast justice gap for those who would otherwise go unrepresented when confronting life-altering events. Since our founding, we have protected the rights of more than 250,000 District residents and trained nearly 4,000 students through our clinical program.
Your support has helped us serve District residents who have nowhere else to turn. Together we can do even more for the most vulnerable members of our community. Please donate today.
