Rising for Justice knows that when our neighbors understand their rights, they are empowered to advocate for themselves and best equipped to resist unlawful actions. Our attorneys and social workers partner with community-based organizations to deliver clear, practical Know Your Rights trainings for low-income tenants at risk of eviction or unsafe living conditions, as well as community members seeking record sealing to remove barriers to employment and stable housing. These sessions are interactive and give participants the opportunity to share their experiences, voice their concerns, and ask questions.
