Rising for Justice will be closed in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day on Monday, October 12. Normal operations resume on Tuesday, October 13.
Rising for Justice offers text messaging for individual conversations with our staff about appointments, information requests, and follow-up related to our legal and social work services.
We ask for your permission before sending text messages. Receiving texts is optional. You can receive our services without agreeing to text messaging, and you may withdraw your consent at any time.
The number of messages varies based on your communications with our staff. Rising for Justice does not charge for texting, but your carrier’s message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to stop texts from the RFJ number that contacted you. You may receive a final confirmation. If you communicate with several RFJ staff numbers, STOP applies separately to each number. You may also tell your staff contact that you want RFJ to stop all text communications.
Reply HELP for assistance, or email us at info@risingforjustice.org.
We use your mobile number, consent information, and messages to communicate with you and provide services. Providers that operate and deliver our messaging service may process this information as necessary to support those communications.
We do not sell your mobile number or share your mobile number or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Texts may be visible to anyone who has access to your phone. Please tell your RFJ staff contact if texting is unsafe for you or your number changes. Avoid sending sensitive documents, Social Security numbers, or financial account information by text. Ask your staff contact about another way to share that information.
Text messages may not be read immediately. For urgent questions or approaching deadlines, call your RFJ staff contact. Agreeing to receive texts does not, by itself, establish an attorney-client relationship.
